Dissing+Weitling has designed a flexible headquarters that promotes the needs of the construction company for knowledge sharing and development at the workplace. The layout varies from open office environments and casual meeting rooms to quiet offices.

The corporate domicile in Søborg, in Greater Copenhagen, consists of two parallel office wings connected by a large atrium. We have arranged the workspaces, so they meet different employee needs, with a combination of open office environments, meeting rooms and quiet offices. The variation accommodates collaboration, immersion and casual meetings.
The office wings have direct views into the glass-roofed atrium from all floors, and the space extends to the full height of the building. With its library, teaching facilities, reception, canteen and lounge, the atrium unifies the shared functions and is a natural gathering point for employees and visitors. A terraced garden and daylight from above give character and life to the office building. In addition, a gym and parking facilities are located in the basement.
En ’hjemlig’ arbejdsplads
Indvendigt har domicilet et stimulerende mix af miljøer, udtænkt efter det samtidige ”new office”-koncept, der understøtter forskellige behov i løbet af dagen – bevægelse, social aktivitet, afstresning og helt bestemte arbejdsaktiviteter i stillekontorer eller åbne møderum, så den enkelte selv kan vælge til og fra. Det er muligt at koble af i ’hjemlige’ zoner på arbejdspladsen og tage en pause og kaffe med kollegerne.
Kontorfløjene har kig til atriet fra alle etager, hvis rum spænder ud i bygningens fulde højde. Det er ramme om fællesfunktioner som bibliotek, undervisningsrum, reception, kantine og lounge og fungerer som et naturligt samlingspunkt for medarbejderne.
The office building has proved its worth
Since 2000, MT Højgaard has utilised the building's flexible layout regularly to create new departments and functions. MT Højgaard vacated in 2016, and today the building is domicile for Beierholm, a firm of auditors.
Husets indretning er udviklet i tæt samarbejde med bygherren. Alt kontorinventar er specialdesignet til huset, så selv møblerne på arbejdspladsen fremhæver skivevirkningen i form af retvinklede flader – og er dermed en parallel til husets overordnede designkoncept.
Siden indflytningen i 2000 har MT Højgaard med stor succes udnyttet den fleksible indretning til at flytte rundt på funktioner og afdelinger. Og efter fraflytning i 2016 er den fleksible bygning tilpasset revisionsselskabet Beierholm.
