Our mobility team at Dissing+Weitling is looking for an intern who is passionate about sustainable infrastructure and interested in life cycle assessment (LCA).

  • Are you a civil engineering or architectural engineering student with a passion for LCAs and carbon reduction strategies within the built environment and/or mobility infrastructure? Would you like to apply your knowledge to a real-world project ? Then we have an internship opportunity for you at our studio for 3–5 months.

The project involves calculating sustainability assessments of Dissing+Weitling’s mobility projects, including developing a comprehensive CO₂ baseline assessment of our existing portfolio. The goal is to produce an accurate and effective method for quantifying the company’s historical environmental impact from bridge and station design.

You’ll have an opportunity to partner with Dissing+Weitling’s mobility architects and sustainability experts and make recommendations on how the company can integrate carbon reduction targets within the mobility business area.

    About you

We expect that you have an interest in bridge design and the structural design of steel and concrete, are familiar with Danish LCA calculation methods, and have experience working with Grasshopper.

We imagine that you are currently studying at DTU, AAU, AARCH, or a similar institution, and that a mobility LCA baseline assessment project naturally coincides with your studies, interests, and future career pursuits.

    About us

Dissing+Weitling is an award-winning architecture firm with around 60 dedicated employees, who are housed in refurbished premises at Islands Brygge. Our portfolio includes some of the world’s most spectacular bridges, stations, headquarters for international companies, hotels and residences, as well as heritage restoration projects.

We work in an open office environment with easy access to professional collaboration. Our ambitions are high, and the tone is informal and friendly.

If this sounds like something for you, please send your application, CV, and preferably a few work samples examples as soon as possible to job@dw.dk. Please write "Mobility LCA Intern" in the subject line.

Please note: To be eligible for the internship position, you must have the legal right to work and study in Denmark.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
